Domestic Abuse Advice Worker (Nepali speaking)
We are now recruiting for the role of Domestic Abuse Advice Worker Nepali speaking
Hours: Flexible – Full time or part time to include some out of office hours
Salary: £22,241 full time equivalent (£11.56 per hour)
One year fixed term post
We are looking for someone with good communication, empathy and organisational skills to take on this new, important role to extend our excellent work with the Nepali community to address domestic abuse.
Working alongside our qualified Independent Domestic Abuse Adviser (IDVA), you will be helping us to widen our reach, and overcome language and cultural barriers to engage with those who need help.
No previous experience is required, but you will have the understanding and confidence to develop new ways to reach out and support individuals; and to help them feel safe and secure in addressing issues of domestic abuse.
Full support and training will be given, and you will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge and practical skills to support individuals – in person, by phone and through online platforms.
