Communications Volunteer

We are now recruiting for a Communications Volunteer to work with us for a minimum of a half day per week.

The purpose of the role is

To support the Citizens Advice Rushmoor Communications Strategy
To promote the service and improve awareness of the benefits of volunteering with Citizens Advice

The sort of work you will be doing will include:

Writing press releases and tailored content for local media, Twitter, Facebook and the web.
Potential to establish a connection with local broadcast media
Contributing to Citizens Advice Rushmoor internal communications and publications
Providing communications support for our events such as Scams Awareness and Energy Week

If you have some of the following skills and qualities we’d love to hear from you:

Oral and written communication skills
Social media knowledge and experience
Able to think creatively and flexibly to make good use of content
Understanding of, and commitment to, the aims and principles of the Citizens Advice service and its equality and diversity policies (training provided)
