Communications Volunteer
We are now recruiting for a Communications Volunteer to work with us for a minimum of a half day per week.
The purpose of the role is
- To support the Citizens Advice Rushmoor Communications Strategy
- To promote the service and improve awareness of the benefits of volunteering with Citizens Advice
The sort of work you will be doing will include:
- Writing press releases and tailored content for local media, Twitter, Facebook and the web.
- Potential to establish a connection with local broadcast media
- Contributing to Citizens Advice Rushmoor internal communications and publications
- Providing communications support for our events such as Scams Awareness and Energy Week
If you have some of the following skills and qualities we’d love to hear from you:
- Oral and written communication skills
- Social media knowledge and experience
- Able to think creatively and flexibly to make good use of content
- Understanding of, and commitment to, the aims and principles of the Citizens Advice service and its equality and diversity policies (training provided)
