About the role

We’re an ambitious charity determined to deliver quality services to our community. Each year we improve the lives of thousands of local people in Rushmoor by sharing information and offering advice, support and guidance.

This is an exciting new role working on a pilot project which will help to further improve the availability and accessibility of transitional support in Rushmoor for asylum seekers and refugees who have received positive decisions. This service would be person-centred and strive to be holistic, using our knowledge of other local services to ensure effective referrals and signposting to other support. The role will mainly focus on:

  • exploring housing options, including applications for homelessness assistance, joining the housing register or finding private accommodation.
  • making benefit applications, such as for Universal Credit, as well as other assistance they may be eligible for due to disability or circumstances.
  • support to open a bank account.

We value diversity, promote equality and challenge discrimination. We encourage and welcome applications from people of all backgrounds.
