Volunteering and Training Development Manager – Closed
Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: £26,000 depending on experience
Contract: Initial fixed term 12 months (may be renewed funding permitting)
Location: Home working initially with potential work in one of East Hampshire offices (Bordon, Petersfield, Alton) in the future
Responsible to: CEO East Hampshire
Citizens Advice across Hampshire have joined together to develop a strategy to meet the increasing demand for our services because of Covid-19. We intend to increase both the number and types of volunteering and other roles that enable us to provide advice and information to the public We have a vacancy for a dynamic development manager who is experienced in working with volunteers as well as delivering training to groups of people. The job will involve you pulling together existing training resources across Hampshire as well as delivering and managing a local volunteer recruitment and training programme in East Hampshire. Initially this work is likely to be delivered remotely but working with key staff involved both locally and county wide in training and development.
This role would suit an applicant who has experience working with teams of volunteers; can market our opportunities as well as the confidence to deliver Citizens Advice training to all types of people. We are looking for someone who has:
● A flexible team focused approach to working with and supporting others
● An interest in the provision of advice to the public and a passion about quality training programmes
● Experience of managing volunteers or training, in a customer facing service
