CLOSED – Resettlement Adviser (Vacancy)
Job purpose:
We’re looking for someone to provide culturally and linguistically tailored support to refugee households resettling in Hampshire under the UK Government Resettlement Programme. In this role, you’ll help families settle into their new lives by offering practical support with housing, welfare benefits, health care, education, and financial stability. You’ll empower clients to access essential services, understand their rights, and build the confidence needed to live independently in the UK. Working closely with IRC UK staff, local authorities, and partner organisations, you’ll deliver both one-to-one and group support, contribute to improving resettlement services, and help deliver engaging group sessions on life in the UK.
Salary: £25,556 to 27,940 pro rata, depending on experience
Hours: 22.5 to 37 hours per week – part time or full–time options available
Period: 2-year fixed term contract starting as soon as possible
Location: Locations across Hampshire available (including Winchester, Southampton Portsmouth and Farnborough)
