Ever thought of becoming a Trustee?
Join us as a Trustee at Citizens Advice Rushmoor and play a leading role – in a charity which last year helped more than 10,000 people in Rushmoor with over 30,000 issues. We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates with experience in business development and fundraising, human resources and people leadership, service delivery, strategy or company secretarial work.
Citizens Advice Rushmoor is an award-winning service that provides free, confidential and impartial advice, and campaigns on big issues affecting people’s lives. As a local, independent charity, our service is needed by our clients now more than ever.
Becoming a Trustee is really rewarding, enabling you to give back to the community, as well as a great way to develop your strategic and leadership skills, put existing experience to use and a fantastic opportunity to learn new things from others. As a member of our Trustee Board, you will share responsibility for deciding on how Citizens Advice Rushmoor is run. Our Trustee roles are performed on a voluntary basis.
We welcome applications from people of all ages, backgrounds and experience who are passionate about the Citizens Advice service. Your experience might include employment, volunteering or your own personal experiences outside of this. As a Trustee you’ll need to have good judgement and be able to work in a team.
If you are interested in joining as a Trustee and would like to learn more about the role, please contact our Chair, Andrew Levey, to arrange an informal chat on 01252 986 224 or by email: [email protected]
