Tackling the Cost of Living in Rushmoor – Call to Action!
On Tuesday 28th February 2023 at 3.00 pm we will be launching our new “Cost of Living in Rushmoor” report. This includes original research through surveying Rushmoor residents, as well as interviews, data, and analysis of how the Cost of Living has affected people in Rushmoor.
Our keynote speaker at the meeting will be Dame Clare Moriarty, Chief Executive of our national Citizens Advice organisation. Clare has been campaigning relentlessly over the last year to highlight the impact of cost of living on our clients. At this event we want to put the spotlight firmly on Rushmoor, and work with local people and organisations to share ideas and actions for working together.
Other organisations such as the Community Grub Hub and local health representatives will also be presenting at the event, which will be action focused. Understanding how the Cost of Living Crisis has affected Rushmoor will in turn help us to work together to tackle those challenges for local people.
