Treasurer

Citizens Advice Rushmoor is a forward looking and active local charity, with a turnover of over over £900,000 this year.  We are proud of our strong local partnerships, and committed to providing a service to meet the needs of the local community.

We are currently recruiting to the voluntary role of Treasurer, working as part of Citizens Advice Rushmoors Trustee Board, and sharing responsibility for the overall governance of the organisation.  The Treasurer takes specific responsibility for guiding and advising the board in relation to budgets, accounts and financial statements, and supporting the financial aspects of our strategic development.

The role supports a salaried Finance Manager, so does not involve detailed book keeping.  The time commitment is around 23 hours per week including monthly board meetings.  Ideally we would like someone with a good understanding of accounting procedures, with the financial qualifications or experience to contribute effectively to the organisation.

A full role description and more information about the organisation can be found here

If you are interested in the role, in the first instance please email company.secretary@citizensadvicerushmoor.org.uk with your cv and details; or for an informal discussion contact Alex Hughes, Chief Officer, on 01252 894287
