Joining Forces for Families – Project Manager
£25,000 FTE- 22.5-26 hrs a week + 5% pension contribution
Joining Forces for Families will be led by Citizens Advice Hart and deliver advice services to serving personnel and their families based at RAF Odiham, The Army Garrison Aldershot and Her Majesty’s Naval Base Portsmouth.
As Project Manager, you will be employed by Citizens Advice Hart and also work closely with the project’s other delivery partners- Rushmoor Citizens Advice, Portsmouth Citizens Advice and Citizens Advice Hampshire as well as armed forces welfare teams.
As Project Manager your main responsibilities will be:
- To manage the setup stage of the project establishing procedures and processes, recruiting
staff and volunteers and forming relationships with internal/external stakeholders - To lead and manage a team of 3 paid caseworkers/advisers and volunteers
- To ensure effective management of service delivery and casework, compliant with relevant
project requirements and Citizens Advice quality standards - To establish stakeholder relationships such as base welfare teams, civilian referral and
outreach partners.
This is a fixed term contract position for 2 years starting July 2018. A secondment from within the Citizens Advice network will be considered.
As Project Manager you will be able to demonstrate a proven ability of managing projects successfully to deliver key milestones and outputs. You may be working within the Citizens Advice network, the armed forces community or in a similar advice service or welfare organisation.
