Friends of Citizens Advice Rushmoor
Citizens Advice Rushmoor has a long and successful local history.
Having served our communities across Farnborough and Aldershot for over 80 years, we’re one of our area’s longest standing and most trusted local charities.
Last year, we supported over 11,000 people with 32,000 issues. From money advice and pension savings guidance, to energy support and domestic abuse, we continue to be our local area’s dedicated advice and information service.
As a local charity, to enable us to deliver these services, we are reliant on funding from local authorities, corporations, charitable trusts, and individuals.
Friends of Citizens Advice Rushmoor was launched in 2023 to bring together new and existing local supporters of the charity to help promote our work in the community, as well as organise events and activities to raise much needed funds.
Friends’ activities include:
- Attending local community events to raise the profile of the charity
- Supporting sign-ups to our Community Lottery
- Helping organise our annual ‘Go the Extra Mile’ sponsored walk
- Arranging fundraising events and activities
As a Friend, you will make a real difference to people’s lives – helping build a network of supporters and raising awareness of our charity’s vital work locally.
