Our Annual Review of 2016-17
As we prepare for our Annual General Meeting on 20th November, we are pleased to share here our annual review documents for 2016/17, highlighting some of our main achievements and activities. We are particularly proud of the research and campaigns work we have undertaken this year, which has helped to shine a spotlight on some of the key issues which bring people to our service – primarily changes to welfare benefits.
The report also spells out the real financial value of our service, directly improving the lives of local residents, and saving money for taxpayers and our funders. The wider benefits of the work we do are also clearly demonstrated, with improvements in wellbeing, and community cohesion, not least through the fantastic involvement of volunteers in our service.
Do take the time to read through; along with our trustees’ report and financial statements, this all adds up to demonstrate how we deliver our service, as a very effective and high performing local charity.
