Foodbank use in Rushmoor 2017
We are proud to present our latest Research Report which shines a spotlight on Foodbank use in Rushmoor.
The report responds to concerns raised from our team about the growing number of clients we are seeing in food crisis. It examines the underlying causes of foodbank use, as well as the connected issues we advise people on when they are facing crisis. It includes interviews with foodbank users and volunteers, and the links to welfare reform – in particular anticipated increase in demand with the roll out of Universal Credit. It concludes with some clear recommendations, which we will be working on with partners over the next few months.
We would like to thank Farnborough Foodbank for its support with this important work, as well as our volunteers, April and Ed, who undertook the research.
