Welcome to our new Blog
It is busy times for Citizens Advice Rushmoor, as we develop new projects at Prospect Estate Big Local, The Brain Tumour Charity and the Wellbeing Centre – all important services which started in April. Alongside that, our webchat and email project is now delivering over 140 emails a week, ensuring that those who are unable to call in or phone, can still get help.
Our volunteer team is growing, so as we say goodbye to some of our great law student volunteers – who have gained valuable experience and are now moving on in their careers – new volunteers are being recruited, and starting to deliver services very soon after joining the team.
With so much going on, and so many new challenges ahead, we know we can’t afford to lose sight of communications, so we are really pleased to launch our new website with this blog facility where we can keep everyone up to date with what is happening. We want to engage with local people in ways that are helpful, interesting and address local concerns – we will be using this blog to do that, as well as our Twitter and Facebook page. Do join in!
We hope you find this interesting, and look forward to seeing the blog develop over the coming weeks.
