Where is the office moving to?
We will be on the ground floor in Rushmoor Borough Council offices on the Farnborough Road, next to Pinehurst Roundabout. Our reception desk will be in the public area, where we can answer quick queries, and our confidential interview rooms will be just behind that desk. Our other staff will be located in a separate private space not far from the interview rooms.
When is the office moving?
The new office will be fully open on Monday 1st April 2019. We’ll close our existing office the week of 18th March, and will offer a skeleton service at the new offices from 25th March, just to make sure everything is working properly. We’ll keep our website updated with exact service delivery details as things become clear.
Why is the office moving?
The Community Centre, where the office is now located, was closed in January 2019, and the whole building will eventually be knocked down, as part of the redevelopment of Farnborough’s new Civic Quarter. Click here for more information.
Will the service be the same at the Civic Offices?
It will be. We’ll still offer free, confidential advice to our clients and maintain an independent service.
What will the opening hours be?

How will I get to the new offices by bus?
The number 1 Gold Bus will take you to the nearest stop (Northbound – “Rushmoor Council Offices” bus stop or Southbound “College of Technology”) on the A325. You then just follow the footpath around to the main entrance, which will be clearly signposted.
Where’s the best place to park?
The Pinehurst car park (map below) is just a five minute walk. There is disabled parking close to the offices for people who have a blue badge.
What about Heathlands Citizens Advice?
As part of the reorganisation Heathlands Citizens Advice will be moving from its current location to join the Farnborough team at the Civic Offices. Its service, staff and opening hours will remain the same. All current clients should receive a letter about this change.
